This lovely gown was first seen being worn by Shirley Cain as Mrs. Philips in the 1980 adaptation of Pride and Prejudice. Three years later, it was worn by Susan Dury during her performance as Maria Bassatt in the 1983 British television miniseries Jamaica Inn.
