This paisley waistcoat has been used at least three times over the years. It was first seen in the 1999 film Onegin, where Ralph Fiennes wore it as Eugene Onegin. It was then worn in the 2009 version of Emma, where it was seen on Jonny Lee Miller as Mr. Knightley. Finally, it was spotted on the character poster for Douglas Booth as Mr. Bingley in the 2016 Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

They are very similar indeed, I’ve checked them when S&S came out, although I don’t remember exactly to which conclusion I’ve come. Stevens’ waistcoat has probably been in and on Onegin as well. But it is not the one seen above. The pattern ist different (Stevens wears paisley) and the colouring is warmer with a yellow touch that is visible even though the picture of S&S is made to look cooler and drained of colour.

I do think Tom Hiddleston is wearing it as Mr. Plumptre in Miss Austen Regrets (2007) though. I can’t get great shots of it but you can see it in some gifs some Hiddleston stans have made.
