About the Costume

This lovely lavender spencer was used in the 1983 adaptation of Mansfield Park, where Jackie Smith-Wood wore it as Mary Crawford. Interestingly, it wasn’t seen again for twenty-six years but was then used in the 2009 production of Emma twice! It was worn by Amy Loughton as Miss Campbell, as well as extra in the background of another scene.
