In 2017 the dress was used on an extra in the Warburtons commercial Pride and Breadjudice. The costume appeared again on Charlotte Spencer as Esther Denham in the 2022 second season of Sanditon.

  1. Pretty sure the aquablue robe thing worn by Charlotte Spencer in Sanditon S2E1 is the one also worn by Nikki Amuka-Bird as Lady Russell at the church wedding in netflix’ 2022 Persuasion.
    Similar items to this have been popping up here and there (E.g. in Sanditon S3E6 on Mary Parker/Kate Ashfield or on extras at the London Soiree in 2017’s “Taboo”. They all very likely/obviously originate from Beatrix Aruna Pasztor’s designs for the 2012 “Great Expectations”, though no exact match was yet found on screen.

    • Thanks, I will look for that in Persuasion. And yeah, it def comes from Great Expectations – just a matter of finding. Maybe on an extra somewhere. I’ll keep my eyes peeled. 🙂
